Tranquil blue
One of the most significant features at Edgewater is Edgewater Lake. Joined to the Maribyrnong River by two channels, the lake will be suitable for use by small to medium sized boats and will offer direct water access to a variety of destinations, including The Docklands, Southgate and the city.
Take your canoe for a paddle, or spy the natural wildlife that indulge in Edgewater’s wetlands. The meandering pathways that accompanies the shoreline is a perfect way to explore the waterfront while a series of formal steps and boardwalks are perfect for catching your breath or to take in the sparkling waterfront. The proposed waterside café/restaurant will be the spot for dining out with friends and watching the boats go by.
